Due to the announced discontinuation of the SOFORT payment method by the provider, our SOFORT plugin will also become obsolete. Accordingly, we would like to announce the End of Life (EOL) from our side as well. While you may have already received communication from SOFORT or Klarna on this matter, we find it crucial to reiterate this information in our message.

As of now, a specific date for the discontinuation of SOFORT has not been confirmed. It has already been deactivated in some countries, and a tentative date of September 2024 is being considered. We advise you to make the necessary adjustments to your payment methods to ensure a smooth transition for your customers.

Please be aware that the standalone Plugin for SOFORT will not be operational but you can for example use the Klarna Plugin which allows Klarna Pay Now.
