The latest announcements and our product roadmap.
We are excited to announce a significant improvement to our Shopify integration. In response to your numerous requests, we have optimised the transfer of price and stock data from PlentyONE to your Shopify shop: We're introducing independent price and stock exports to Shopify.
Previously, price and stock updates were linked to a single process, but we have now decoupled them! In addition to the existing stock update, you now benefit from a separate, independent export job for prices.
The new price export runs automatically every 15 minutes (just like the stock update) and furthermore now includes the RRP (Recommended Retail Price). Specifically, this means you no longer have to adjust your stock levels if you only want to update prices in your Shopify shop.
This improvement is being rolled out gradually, and it is already live in the first shops. The change is happening in the background and does not require you to take any immediate action or configuration steps. If you have activated the automatic transfer of stock and price updates in the setup wizard, both jobs will now run separately but remain active via the same single switch.
The rollout will take place in phases. For the first systems, the rollout has already been completed successfully and without errors. The following schedule is tentatively expected:
21 Oct: For all Plenty IDs greater than 60000
22 Oct: For all Plenty IDs greater than 50000
23 Oct: For all Plenty IDs greater than 40000
27 Oct: For all Plenty IDs greater than 30000
28 Oct: For all Plenty IDs greater than 20000
29 Oct: All remaining shops
We aim to complete the rollout for all Shopify users expected by 29 October.
We appreciate your feedback!
Thank you for your patience. We look forward to providing you with an even better and more efficient experience when managing your Shopify data.
