The latest announcements and our product roadmap.
plentyShop LTS remains very popular and is by far the most popular shop solution for plentysystems users.
The plentyShop PWA project is growing and progressing and is already being used productively by several customers. We are certain that we will offer you a great and future-proof product with our new online shop. However, we want to ensure that you continue to have planning security.
We are therefore pleased to announce that we are extending the long-term support for plentyShop LTS to Q1 2026.
This means that we will continue to provide regular forum support, make it possible to fulfill new legal requirements and provide additional bug fixes.
What happens after the end of long-term support in Q1 2026?
By the end of the long-term support period in the first quarter of 2026, we will have decided whether the LTS period will be extended again or whether plentyShop LTS will go into maintenance mode afterwards. Regardless of our decision, we will inform you well in advance.
Maintenance mode means that we will continue to fix critical bugs and provide forum support for the current version, but will not make any further changes. The end of long-term support is not equal to an EOL!
This procedure ensures that we can concentrate fully on the further development of plentyShop PWA and still guarantee that your plentyShop LTS online shop runs smoothly.
Use the time until the end of the long-term support to familiarize yourself with plentyShop PWA.
Should we consider an EOL for plentyShop LTS at a future date, we will announce it several months in advance via all channels to enable you to switch over in a timely manner.
New plentyShop LTS version 5.0.63
With the latest update for plentyShop LTS you can expect support for WebP and AVIF article images. You can further improve your online shop performance by activating the new option „Fix header on top“. This allows you to reduce the so-called Content Layout Shift (CLS), which can be caused by the header. Some other SEO-relevant features are also included in this update.
In addition, the upcoming update of the feedback plugin will bring a major performance boost for all users of the plugin.
