We are pleased to announce that a major update for the Sales Channels is on the way being rolled out. This update mainly delivers improvements to the user interface (UI/UX) as well as optimised workflows for account setup and listing creation. The planned release is July 16th, 2025.

An overview of the enhancements

• Revamped channel tiles in the menu Sales Channels » Accounts:
  Each tile now represents a single account, rather than an entire sales channel. This makes it possible to manage multiple accounts per sales channel.

• More clarity directly on the tile: Expanded information on the tiles provides more transparency. Key data is now immediately visible, and navigating to relevant submenus is quicker and more intuitive.

• New concept for listing creation: Listing creation is now split into product listings and offer listings.

  • This especially benefits sales channels with a product-specific structure, allowing for targeted and separate creation of both listing types.

  • Both listing types now have their own overview pages, offering a clearer structure and enabling more efficient management.

Information on technical rollout

For users of the marketplace integrations with OBI, Octopia, and Tradebyte, the system will be updated automatically. After the update, the marketplaces will be accessible via the new workflows. Only minimal downtime is expected.

Important: During the update, there will be brief limitations in the availability of certain features. Once the update is complete, all new features will be available as usual. The order imports will be deactivated for approximately 2 hours and will run normally again after the transition.

No manual action is required – you can continue working with the optimized processes immediately after the update.
