Our partner Decathlon will soon roll out a taxonomy update, which we will also adopt and integrate on our side. As part of this update, there will be several changes to the attributes and attribute value lists:

• Some existing attributes and value lists will be removed

• New attributes and value lists will be introduced

• Some fields that were previously optional will become mandatory

• Certain fields will become conditionally mandatory, depending on the values of other attributes

The update will be rolled out by Decathlon starting Monday, 19/05/2025 (CW21), and we will implement the changes accordingly. You will have a 4-week transition period (CW 21–24) to meet the new requirements.

During this transition phase:

• Both old and new attributes/value lists will be available in parallel

• Fields that will become mandatory later will remain optional during these 4 weeks

This transition period is intended to give you sufficient time to update and adjust your mappings, so that your product data will be fully compliant by the target date (expected in CW 24) and can continue to be processed by Decathlon.
