We would like to inform you that OTTO Market has launched a new version of the Product API (Version 5) on 11/06/2025. As usual, there is a changeover period of 6 months for new API versions. The changeover must therefore be completed by 10/12/2025. We have created a roadmap item for you to follow.

The main changes in Products Version 5 are the expansion of the maintenance options for GPSR-relevant information.

Previously, only one address could be maintained per product and the manufacturer's address had to be stored. With the new version, several addresses with different roles (manufacturer & EU responsible person) can be maintained.

We will consider the changeover to Products Version 5 in due time and inform you again as soon as the necessary adjustments have been made.

IMPORTANT

OTTO Market has informed us that the input masks for manually creating and changing product data in the OTTO Partner Connect portal of OTTO Market are already running on the new API version 5. This poses a risk for you as a merchant. Every product that you currently edit and change manually in the OTTO Market portal can no longer be adjusted via the API. OTTO provides information on the products that they can only be adjusted via the latest API version.

Please keep this in mind and avoid making adjustments to products in the OTTO Partner Connect portal.
