We are excited to announce that the migration from the old Octopia/Cdiscount API to their new API has been successfully completed on your systems. However, to ensure uninterrupted service, you must complete a short post-migration configuration. The existing, SOAP-based API for items will reach an End-of-life at the end of this month.

Here's what this means for you

The migration from the old Octopia/Cdiscount API to the new API has already been performed in your system. You now benefit from the improved Rest-API integration, which will be used for all Cdiscount-related functionality in the future.

In the course of this migration process, your offers have automatically been created. You can confirm the migration results by reviewing the sales channel “Migrated Cdiscount” in your system:

Please note, that the previous API will no longer be supported at the end of this month. In order to continue to be able to create new products for Cdiscount, switching to the new API integration is mandatory.

Here's what you need to do

Because of the update, we kindly as you to carry out the following steps:

1. Update Your Cdiscount Settings:

   1. Navigate to Setup > Markets > Cdiscount.com > New API integration in your dashboard.

   2. Enter your credentials by setting your Seller ID.

   3. Enable the integration by activating the „Use the new API integration“ option.

   4. In your dashboard, navigate to Setup > Markets > Octopia > Settings > Migrated Cdiscount

      Also set your seller ID here.

2. Verify Your Listings:

   1. The migration process has automatically created your listings.

   2. You can confirm the successful migration by checking for a „CDiscount Migration“ sales channel in your systems.

Additional Information

Currently, there are two settings sections in the Setup - Markets area: one for Cdiscount and one for Octopia. These sections will be merged in a future update. For now, please update only the settings in the Cdiscount UI as described above.

Important Note: The old Octopia/Cdiscount API will reach End of Life at the end of this month. If you want to create new products for Cdiscount you will have to make the switch to the new API integration by 31.03.25. Switching to the new API integration is essential to avoid any disruption in your services.
