We would like to inform you that we have introduced the change from the former Products v4 API to the Products v5 in our OTTO Market integration. 

Key Changes from v4 to v5

• OTTO introduced roles to the GPSR relevant informations - Distributor and Manufacturer

  • We have implemented them in the catalogue as an addition to the existing GPSR fields

• OTTO introduced the option to send a second address besides the mandatory distributor information for GPSR information

  • We have changed the field names for the existing fields

  • We have implemented a second set of the GPSR fields with the role “Manufacturer” as optional to send Manufacturer information if available

• OTTO introduced for food categories special fields to send over information about the food or animal feed operator similar to the GPSR information

  • We have implemented the necessary address information for food and animal feed operator 

  • In the relevant categories the GPSR relevant fields for the distributor and manufacturer will be replaced by the fields for the food and animal feed operator

Impact for Sellers

• The new compliance structure allows for clearer product responsibility and legal transparency because you are able to send manufacturer information besides the mandatory distributor information to the marketplace

• Distributors must always be specified. If the distributor and manufacturer are the same, the same details can be entered for both.

• There is no need for taking action. Only if you want to add the manufacturer information. 

• If you want to sell in the food or animal feed categories you need to make sure one of the address fields are filled
