In order to integrate extensions into your PlentyONE system, plugins added from the PlentyMarketplace or through GitHub repositories need to be included in a plugin set, which is subsequently deployed. This process has previously taken a considerable time. We're excited to announce a new release for the plugin system component, which directly addresses this performance challenge!

This update focuses entirely on backend improvements to enhance your experience working with plugins. While there will be no changes to the way you install and deploy pluginsets, we've made significant optimizations:

• Faster Plugin Operations: Installing and updating plugins from both the PlentyMarketplace and Git repositories is now considerably faster. You should also notice speed improvements when accessing plugin configurations.

• Improved Git Plugin Handling: We now read directly from remote Git repositories instead of relying on local clones. This improves speed and resolves potential inconsistencies between your system and the remote source.

Overall, managing plugins should feel much smoother and more efficient.
