Released: New Version 1.4 for plentyShop PWA

We are happy to introduce the latest update for plentyShop PWA - version 1.4

With this update we released tons of new features, improved the user experience and optimized the performance of plentyShop PWA

Get ready for an enriched shopping experience!

You can display the attributes of your products as images or as boxes, helping customers effortlessly discover and compare the different available versions of your products.

With the ability to display tags, promoting products and guiding customers through your inventory has never been more intuitive.

Our new and improved way of displaying item bundles makes it easier than ever to upsell your products.

Customers can also manage their addresses more easily by marking a primary address, streamlining their checkout process and enhancing address management.

When it comes to performance optimizations, we also have some amazing changes for you:

plentyShop PWA now supports the image file format AVIF, saving up to 50% on file size of your item images.

We significantly reduced the size of the DOM by removing unnecessary HTML Nodes. This way we ensure that the crawlers of search engines are happy when they visit your shop and also generally reduce the amount of data that needs to be downloaded when browsing the site.

Depending on the viewport of the visitors' device, it’s not always required to load a full sized image. That’s why we now provide images appropriately sized depending on the display size, reducing the data that is to be downloaded even more.

And to top it all up: We've squashed numerous bugs and optimized some processes to ensure a smoother, more reliable experience for users and developers.

Exciting developments are planned for the future, including conversion-optimized checkout, limited time offers and customer reviews. You can find a detailed outlook on our roadmap.

You can find a comprehensive list of all changes in the changelog on GitHub

We appreciate your continued support and enthusiasm for plentyShop PWA.
