OTTO Market aims to offer merchants a new feature to increase flexibility in handling returns starting April 28, 2025.
Originally, the feature for managing multiple return locations and carriers was planned for the end of Q3 but has now been completed ahead of schedule. With this new function, you will be able to add additional return warehouse locations and assign multiple return carriers per location.
Since this feature will be released more than four months earlier than originally planned, we won’t be able to make it available from the start. Additionally, we currently lack the data to determine whether this feature is of interest to all of you. Therefore, we would appreciate it if you could indicate your interest via the following link:

Here's what you need to consider
Since any changes to the existing settings have a direct impact on the transmission of shipping notifications to OTTO Market, we kindly ask you not to make any changes for now!
Important
If you create a new return warehouse location in the OTTO Partner Connect Portal OR add an additional return carrier to the existing return address, it will no longer be possible to send error-free shipping notifications from the PlentyONE system.
By adding another return carrier or creating a new return warehouse location, a new mandatory field will be added to the shipping notification.
We would like to provide you with further information about the new function and how you can respond in case you need to revert changes due to potential issues:

The new function will be visible under the "Shipping and Returns" settings tab. The existing return address will be converted into a return warehouse location with the configured return carrier.
For more detailed instructions on how to manage and delete return warehouse locations or carriers, please follow OTTO’s guidance in the linked Helpdesk article. As long as you do not make any changes to the current settings, and do not add any additional return carriers or new warehouse locations, everything will continue to function as usual.
Once we’ve received a valid number of responses via survey, we will evaluate whether—and most importantly, when and how—we will implement this feature.
