The process for submitting and processing ideas and feedback is now officially entering regular operation! Over the past few weeks, we have already been able to collect and evaluate many of your suggestions during a test phase, as well as design our approach. Thank you very much for your commitment and understanding for the occasional delay in feedback.

Successful completion of the test phase

The process has been in an intensive test phase since August, and we are extremely pleased with the response. Of the more than 200 ideas submitted, the majority of suggestions related to order management functionality, but we also received valuable input for our product teams working on shop and multichannel.

We are particularly pleased that over 50 of these submissions have already been added to the product development backlog and will be processed by our teams in the future. This number confirms the value your ideas deliver to the enhancement of PlentyONE.

The process at a glance

Your ideas form the basis for our further development. In order to process the wealth of suggestions, we have established a structured process:

• Review and qualification: Your submitted ideas are centrally collected, then reviewed and evaluated by our product teams. You will be notified once the review commences.

• Voting and quantification (optional): If an idea has potential but its relevance needs to be further quantified, we publish it on the ideas board. This is where you come in: keep an eye on the board and cast your vote to show which suggestions are most important to you. Your feedback and votes help us to clearly define our priorities. We will establish a format notifying you of newly published ideas.

• Feedback from the product team: You will receive feedback from us on your submission in three cases:

  • Further investigation: We may contact you for additional details to clarify your idea.

  • Rejection: We'll explain our reasoning if we're unable to consider and implement your suggestion.

  • Acceptance: We'll notify you when your idea has been added to our product backlog. Please note, that this means a feature solving your request is part of our planning process. However, we cannot provide an exact timeline for implementation.

Important note for your submissions

To help us evaluate your suggestions as effectively as possible, please provide comprehensive information about your ideas. The more more precise you capture your current pain point, the easier it is to assess and the quicker we can decide how to respond to your feedback.

Also, if you log in with your PID and user name and submit your ideas via a system email (username+12345@mail.account.plentysystems.com), you will receive feedback in your system's Messenger.

Improvements to the submission process and dialogue

Your feedback not only helps us improve the platform, but also the submission process itself. We are now attaching your original message to every notification we send out, and have requested several enhancements to the submission process on the Product Information Hub from the platform it runs on. The ability to add screenshots or other attachments to make your ideas even clearer is just one of the improvements we are aiming for.
