We’re happy to announce that we have successfully completed the planned improvements to our PlentyONE Shop build service!

Over this development period, our goal was to create a more resilient, efficient, and user-friendly deployment experience. With these latest changes, we’ve now delivered the final pieces of this initiative:

• Faster Build Times: By caching node dependencies, we’ve significantly reduced the build duration — saving around 28%, compared to before our optimizations. On average, build times now only take between 5–6 minutes instead of 8 minutes.

• Build Information at a Glance: Each App Instance now features a new column showing details about the last build — making it easy to see whether the build was successful or, if not, what went wrong.

• Change the app source with ease: You can now change the app source and name from a new context menu. This allows you to switch between our base shop and for example one that is provided by your agency.

With these improvements, we conclude the planned optimizations for the current development cycle.

However, this does not mean we are standing still. We will continue to monitor the build times of your Shops and will proactively explore further optimizations whenever the need arises.
