The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) goes into effect on 13 December 2024 rendering mandatory the provision of details for an EU responsible person for products that fall under the regulation and whose manufacturer is not based in the EU. While it had already been made possible to maintain the information in PlentyONE on the respective manufacturer (Setup » Items » Manufacturer » [Open manufacturer]), the transfer of entered data to the individual marketplaces had yet to be ensured.

Development status of data transfer to sales channels

At this point, we'd like to again draw your attention to our status report in the forum thread, which details the current status of implementation for each sales channel as well as a recommendation on the procedure for maintaining this information. The information provided has been updated on an ongoing basis. 

Where technically necessary, it is recommended to maintain the data directly in the merchant portal of the respective platform, for example, if a reliable data transfer cannot be guaranteed by the deadline.
