OBI, one of the leading addresses for DIY in Germany and Europe, is opening up its ecosystem to third-parties as it expands its online store into a marketplace. We are pleased to announce that you, as an plentySeller, will soon be able to sell on the platform for DIY and Home&Garden.

We are currently starting a closed beta phase with a selection of retailers. These participants have been selected together with OBI and will be contacted individually shortly.

Procedure and participation process

Together with the OBI team, we have decided to proceed in two phases:

(1) a closed beta phase with selected OBI retailers who are already active but currently sell via manual processes on the OBI marketplace, followed by (2) an open beta phase in which all interested retailers can actively participate.

The closed beta phase that has just started will be used to test the new development to ensure quality and stability before it is made available to a wider user base.

As soon as the second phase of the beta is launched, you will receive further information, can proceed according to our published instructions and contact our ACSM for feedback. The ACSM will then activate you for the forum area.
