We would like to inform you that we have renewed our core Cdiscount integration. Cdiscount had discontinued its existing SOAP API, which forced us to make adjustments to the integration to allow you to continue selling on the marketplace and scaling your activities on the largest online discounter in France.

In the course of this, we have integrated some new features and can now proudly announce that the process has been completed and an entirely renewed integration is available. It includes many exciting features and process optimizations for the setup of the connection, as well as the creation and management of listings.

For existing Cdiscount merchants, an automatic SKU migration will take place in the background so that all existing offers can already be found in the dedicated listing overview.

In order to use the new integration via REST-API, the following steps are required in advance:

1. Grant plentysystems authorization to communicate with the Octopia REST API. To do so, open the Octopia dialog “API Credentials” and in the tab “I am a seller” select the option “I use the APIs via an aggregator or a website plugin” and then “My aggregator only requests my SellerId”.

2. In the following dialog window, select “plentysystems” from the drop-down menu, accept the terms and conditions and grant access.

3. Now, a seller authentication must be carried out. To do this, enter your Octopia SellerZone access data to obtain your SellerId.
   plentysystems has now been granted access to your Feed Manager for all Octopia sales channels (including Cdiscount Marketplace and all future Octopia activations).

4. In the plentysystems backend, enter your Seller ID in the corresponding field under Setup “Markets ‘Cdiscount ’New API integration.

5. Activate the checkbox “Use the new API integration" - Cdiscount now uses the new REST-API integration in your system

Advantages of the new integration

For existing Cdiscount sellers, the new integration offers automatic migration of existing offers, ensuring a smooth transition. In addition, there is a new, dedicated overview for seamless management of listings. Here, new listings can be created, existing ones can be edited and errors can be easily be corrected.
