We're in the final phase of rolling out the new catalogue and 'adapter' for our first merchants. This ensures support for the updated Amazon interface (ListingsAPI) and guarantees that product and offer exports continue to run smoothly.

Mandatory Attributes and New Product Types

With the new interface, Amazon has converted several previously optional attributes into mandatory fields. These changes apply immediately to all new listings. For existing listings, you'll be prompted to add the missing information when editing them. From 30 June 2025, these attributes will also be mandatory when updating listings via PlentyONE. Additionally, Amazon has defined new product types. These are listed below and are aligned with the product types already familiar from Seller Central. We will automatically migrate your currently used product types to the new ones. We expect the new product types to be visible in the Item UI from mid-June.

Please check your variations and verify whether the required information is already stored in your PlentyONE system. If not, we recommend adding it now so you can directly assign the data once the catalogue and adapter are available.
