This update to the Shopify integration introduces several new features aimed at enhancing order management and improving workflow efficiency.
First, a new "fulfil by" date feature allows merchants to import the deadline by which orders must be shipped from Shopify into the "Shipped on" field within your system, ensuring on-time deliveries and helping businesses prioritise fulfilment.
Additionally, the update enables the import of Shopify order tags, allowing merchants to categorise, prioritise, and track specific order attributes, improving operational insights and enabling better order management.
Lastly, a feature has been added that imports the actual order creation date from Shopify into a custom order property, "Shopify order entry date," ensuring that businesses can access the precise time the customer placed their order, which is valuable for BI evaluations and more accurate order tracking.
These features can be activated by enabling them in the assistant step "Order management" and creating event procedures for importing order tags or dates as needed. By using these new capabilities, merchants can streamline operations, gain better visibility into critical order data, and ultimately improve the customer experience.
