Two new options have been added to the Settings » Box picking menu. The setting Box assignment allows you to select if you want to link boxes to orders During picking (this option is activated by default) or if you want to carry out a Preselection. The second new option named Enable automatic linking is activated by default and refers to the assignment of boxes to orders.

How do the new settings affect the workflow for box picking?
First, you need to allow the preselection of boxes in the plentyWarehouse app. To do so, go to Settings » Box picking.
Tap on Box assignment.
Select the option Preselection.
Return to the main menu and open the Box picking function.
Enter the number of orders that have to be picked and tap on Start.
In the view that opens now, register boxes by scanning them or by manually selecting them from the list. Repeat this step until the number of boxes equals the number of orders that you have previously determined.
Note: If the option Enable automatic linking is activated in the Settings » Box picking menu, a button is displayed at the bottom of the screen during step 6. Use this button to link all boxes to orders automatically. If the option is not activated, each box has to be assigned individually.
Tap on Start to begin picking. Now, you don’t need to link orders and boxes during the actual picking process. In all other regards, the box picking process with plentyWarehouse works as usual.
