Released: Announcement Feed Pop-Up Embed live in your Backend
We are excited to announce a significant update designed to keep you informed at all times: the Pop-Up Embed of our Announcement Feed into your backend! As we aim to drive professionalization, consistency and consolidation of product communication through the Product Information Hub it is an imperative step to ensure intuitive accessibility straight from your familiar environment in plentysystems.
Here's how you benefit from this
Seamless access: No need to leave your backend to stay informed - view all announcements on our feed directly from within the software.
Unread indicator: Look out for the built-in real-time indicator notifying you in case of unread announcements to never miss an update.
Enhanced User Experience: By integrating this feature into the backend, we maintain a seamless and intuitive user interface that aligns with the familiar environment you are accustomed to
Time Efficiency: Quick access to information means you can stay up-to-date with minimal disruption to your workflow, helping you make informed decisions faster.
Here's how the widget works
If you're not already reading this on the new pop-up embed, this is how you can:
Keep an eye out for the new "speaker" icon in the header navigation of your backend. A red dot will indicate that there are unread announcements on our feed. Be sure to check them out.
With a click on the icon, the feed pops up displaying the latest announcements published through the Product Information Hub
Click on an element on the feed to view the entire announcement in an overlay. Click anywhere to close.

Here's what else has been happening
Your feedback during this initial phase of operation has been invaluable. Based on your contributions, we've made adjustments on the layout of the roadmap as well as the responsiveness of the platform, were able to fix major impairments on login processes and place links pointing towards the Product Information Hub more prominently.
Meanwhile, we're working to roll out a sophisticated concept on product communication strategies, which will result in a more consistent and transparent flow of information.
