Amazon: Transitioning to Amazon ListingsAPI with ChannelMaps

We are excited to share an important update regarding our Amazon integration. Amazon is deprecating the current FeedAPI solution used by our integration on March 31, 2025. To ensure uninterrupted service and provide you with an enhanced selling experience, we are transitioning from the FeedAPI to Amazon’s ListingAPI within the SP-API (Selling Partner API). This upgrade is essential for maintaining access to Amazon’s marketplace and unlocking exciting new features.

Key Highlights of the ListingAPI Transition

1. Price and Stock Updates — Seamless Transition

We’ve got you covered! The migration of price and stock updates to the ListingAPI will be handled automatically by our system, ensuring your business operations remain unaffected. No action is required on your part for this aspect of the upgrade.

2. Product Data Export — Your Effort, Our Support

The migration of product data requires some configuration on your end. But don’t worry—we’re here to support you every step of the way. We will provide:

  • Detailed documentation

  • Live webinars

  • Additional resources to ensure a smooth transition

We’ll guide you through the process to make this transition as smooth as possible.

3. Dedicated Migration Plan — Coming Soon

By the end of next week, we will share a comprehensive migration guide. This will include an overview of what we can achieve from a technical perspective to help you succeed with the new integration.

Why the ListingAPI Transition is a Game-Changer

The transition to Amazon's ListingAPI offers several key benefits that will enhance your selling experience and lay the foundation for future improvements:

  • Comprehensive Data Requirements: The ListingAPI provides up-to-date and complete data requirements in product schemas, accessible via the Product Type Definitions API. This ensures that your product listings meet Amazon's latest standards, reducing errors and improving listing accuracy.

  • Uniform Data Schemas: Experience uniformity in schemas across data requirements, simplifying the process of managing product information and ensuring consistency across your listings.

While not all ListingAPI features will be available from launch, we are focusing on implementing its core functionalities to ensure a seamless transition and uninterrupted service. Features such as Enhanced Error Reporting and Real-Time Notifications are planned as future improvements.

This approach lays a strong foundation for future enhancements, ensuring that we can leverage the full potential of the ListingAPI in the long term while maintaining immediate compatibility with Amazon's requirements.
