Channel Maps enable the establishment of connections between catalogues and maps to facilitate the inheritance of cross-category data field mappings. This implementation applies to the following cases:

• A catalogue, not connected to a map, can be connected

• A catalogue, connected to a map, can be disconnected

• A catalogue, connected to a map, can be reconnected to another map

These actions can be performed directly in the settings of the individual catalogue.

Improving map to catalogue connectivity

This new feature allows you to connect catalogues to your map(s) directly from the Channel Maps UI. Additionally, a bulk-connection is enabled, which is going to further streamline your mapping time by allowing the connection of multiple catalogues to a map within the same set of clicks. 

From now on, your catalogue values will also be maintained when creating the connection with a map. This way you will be able to decide if you want to keep those catalogue specific values or inherit them from the map.
