Through our strategic partnership with GLS, we’ll be implementing new GLS endpoints as part of our core integration, rather than as a plugin. This direct partnership will enable regular communication with GLS about customer needs and upcoming changes, ensuring that we can keep pace with the newest features and changing requirements.

The integration will meet more merchant needs, such as handling customs information and GLS-specific hazardous goods data, giving merchants the ability to offer a better buyer experience with less effort on their part.

What's next for the integration

We’ll be releasing features incrementally, so while not everything will be available at first, additional features such as Webshop extensions, Pickup services, and End-of-day reports are in the pipeline for future updates.

• Improved solution to add delivery to a GLS ParcelShop or GLS ParcelStation as a shipping method to the Shop checkout (via specific plug-in)

• QR code returns can be used for AT, BE, DE, DK & LU
