OTTO Market: Refactoring of the Document Handling for Invoices and Credit Notes

We are changing the way we import OTTO Market receipts into PlentyONE. Until now, receipts were retrieved based on actions such as shipping or return messages, which sometimes led to missing receipts in the system. These had to be manually imported afterwards. With the restructuring, we will now retrieve receipts from OTTO Market based on time intervals, ensuring that all available receipts are always provided. This also includes partial refund receipts, which we have not previously retrieved automatically.

The primary objective of the restructuring is to receive and import all available receipts from OTTO Market. This will directly reduce follow-up work and minimize manual tasks in support. By including partial refund receipts, we ensure that all actions related to an order are visible through receipts.

Here's how you benefit

  • Complete Receipt Collection: By retrieving receipts based on time intervals, we always receive everything OTTO Market provides.

  • Reduced Support Effort: Manual receipt imports will no longer be necessary, reducing support workload for both you and PlentyONE.

  • Visibility of Partial Refund Receipts: Receipts for manually issued partial refunds will be automatically imported and linked to the corresponding order.
