PlentyONE Flow: New Feature for Automation
In addition to opening up new sales channels, efficiency and cost-effectiveness are key drivers for e-commerce growth. Today, some workflows can already be partially or fully automated with the help of event procedures and processes.
PlentyONE Flows, as our future solution for smart automation, will be used in many areas of the system in addition to order processing. A simple setup via drag-and-drop user interface, as well as higher traceability through a structured tracker and detailed logging will make PlentyONE Flows stand out and, paired with high performance, deliver major added value.
We are happy to inform you that PlentyONE Flows has now reached the stage for a first closed beta phase. Over the next months, we will closely monitor how our testers are working with flows and the two available PlentyONE Flows user interfaces and evaluate their feedback. Additionally, we are preparing the next steps for PlentyONE Flows by also taking into account the use cases and requirements provided to us by the testers and other customers already using automation.
This means that for the upcoming months we are mainly in a phase of consolidation and gathering feedback as well as analysing and grooming requirements. We will gradually extend the tester base for the closed beta, not only to gather as much feedback as possible but also to find possible issues and work on performance and reliability of the new product.
Please let us know if you are interested in taking part in the Closed Beta Phase for PlentyONE Flows. You can contact the automation team via the forum. We will then check if the technical requirements for participation are met and get into contact with you.
PlentyONE Flows as our new automation product already encompasses and even exceeds the functions of event procedures and procedure manager (time-based automations). The next big step on our agenda is to integrate interactive functionality into PlentyONE Flows – i.e. everything you already know from the processes.
With all of this, we are working towards an open beta phase. There is no set date for this yet because, as mentioned, reliability and performance have priority. We also want to reassure you that the existing automation modules will remain in place for quite some time yet, of course also during the beta phases. There are no specific plans yet for EOLs.
Questions, interest in and feedback for PlentyONE Flows are always welcome – please feel free to contact us about this any time. We will publish regular roadmap updates.
