In order to make the switch to the new article UI possible, at least all the functionality required for everyday use must be implemented in the new article UI. For this reason, we will implement the functionality in the following areas:

• Filter extensions: A continuous release of additional filter elements to enable a detailed search for items and variants.

• New Amazon product type: The new Amazon product type will be available in parallel to the old product type. After the old product type is no longer used, it will be removed from the UI.

• Introduction of new portlets and extension of elements in existing portlets: A portlet for storage location properties is created as an example.

• Copy function for the languages of articles and variants

• Delete functions: Easily accessible delete buttons for variants and images

• Performance improvements within the browser: The memory consumption within the browser is drastically reduced so that the item UI remains usable throughout.

• Adjustments to the group functions: An option to remove properties from variants.

The preparations are used to set an EOL date for the old user interface.
